Design notes
As there was no capacity to work with a developer on this story, the above image (which forms the final and concluding section of the article) was broken into five frames, and with each scroll triggered layers featuring colour and flowers and butterlies to disappear. On the final frame, readers are only left with the solitary silhouette of Dawn engulfed but black negative space. 

The only images provided for use were two very low resolution images of Dawn Elliot – the patient and subject of the article. All other images featured in the collages were sourced from stock libraries and library collections.
